Usign a MacBook Air M1 running MacOS Monterey 12.1. So the problem is on Apple Music on MacOS, iPhone and web browser (not actively using that interface but just used it to check on the problem).

Two things I could not do, however: (1) when I launch Apple Music on Mac with the shift key held down as suggested, the icon never bounces and the app just launches as usual (2) the link in the thread to "If the behavior continues, try testing in a new user account and let me know what you find: "How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac” is unfortunately dead and I couldn’t find it on the community pages here. To solve this I have uninstalled and re-installed the app on my iPhone and did most of what's described in the thread linked above. Songs with specific start-stop times entered more than 3-4 weeks ago are still working fine (start and stop at the specified times). Since 3-4 weeks, however, the start and stop times don’t work on either Mac or iPhone for newly added songs. I use playlists in Apple Music populated with songs from Apple Musicįor months, the start and stop times I entered on the Mac (⌘i > Options, or via menu … > Get info > Options) were not working within Apple Music on the Mac but interestingly they did sync and work on Apple Music on the iPhone. While that issue was about imported songs, I am experiencing the same with any and all songs I’m adding to Apple Music playlists. I've read that "Apple is aware of these issues." So how long are their loyal Apple Music subscribers expected to wait for a fix? Get with it Apple. Literally anything would be an improvement over this massive disappointment. I am on the verge of permanently saying goodbye to Apple Music, which is too bad because I once considered it the best music library organizing and streaming service there was. At this point I think anyone having these issues (and I know it is many users) should be credited for the entire month of March 2022. It's the absolute worst it has ever been. Nothing works! I am so fed up and disappointed with Apple Music.

Yes, I have signed in and out of Apple Music on both Mac OS and iOS about 100 different times! I've done all the little fixes in all the discussions. Playlist sorting, tagging, etc does not sync to other devices I delete these empty folders, and they eventually re-appear. Music duplicates playlist folders multiple times, but puts nothing in them. Syncing deletes any additions to playlists The following issues persist in Monterey 12.3: Have been counting down the days for a Monterey update, fingers crossed, hoping, that maybe, just maybe, Apple would fix this absolute garbage version of Apple Music.
